After more than twenty five years in the insurance industry working for multinational global companies as well as start-ups, I started BLC to have one primary goal - help customers navigate the insurance process, especially workers' compensation claims. But we keep the definition of "customer" fairly broad. For employers, their brokers, insurance industry companies, and claimants the vision is quite clear - work for all parties to solve a problem quickly, efficiently, and improve the process for the future.

Employers

BLC can assist employers with any type of insurance program; fully insured, self-insured, part of a self-insured group, part of a captive, etc. We can help any size or type of employer. 

Third Party Administrators & Managed Care Vendors 

We understand the dynamics of small regional to national TPAs. Each has a responsibility to act in good faith on behalf of the payor and employer. At BLC we also have a deep knowledge of the Managed Care landscape and partner with vendors providing all the services surrounding claims handling. Best in class should always apply for that specific employer in their geographic region and type of business.

We assist Employers with a variety of program evaluation points. BLC provides immediate feedback as it pertains to pricing, performance benchmarks, and gives you the ability to make informed decisions to improve your program. 

TPA & Managed Care Selection

BLC assist our partners with evaluation and selection of the correct TPA. The third party administrator is an extension of your fundamental care of your employees, so the decision is an important one.  Even more than your TPA, managed care vendors can have a significant impact on the bottom line. It's important to remember that this is your program! Don't simply let the TPA choose who works for you. Let's find the best provider of services for you. Bill Review, Case Management, MPNs, PBMs, etc. are all valued services that you pay for.  

RFP Assistance
